yesterday, last~, ago → 과거 단순 The contract was signed last Monday.

since, for, already, yet → 현재완료 Sales have increased since January.

by + 미래 시점 → 미래완료 By next quarter, we will have completed the renovation.

for the past/last + 기간 → 현재완료(진행) She has been working here for the past five years.

since절 = 과거, 주절 = 현재완료 Since the policy was implemented, complaints have decreased.
