사진묘사에서 동작은 같은데 위치만 다른 보기가 자주 나옵니다. "next to the table"과 "on the table"은 완전히 다른 장면이죠. 전치사 15개만 확실히 알면 Part 1이 쉬워집니다.

기본 위치 전치사

next to / beside — ~옆에 The printer is next to the copier.

across from — ~맞은편에 The bank is across from the post office.

in front of — ~앞에 A car is parked in front of the building.

behind — ~뒤에 There's a garden behind the house.

그룹·방향 전치사

between — 둘 사이에 The vase is placed between two books.

among — 여럿 사이에 She is standing among the crowd.

along — ~을 따라 Trees are planted along the road.

around — ~주변에 Chairs are arranged around the table.

facing — ~을 향하여 The desk is facing the window.

상하·접촉 전치사

on top of — ~위에 (접촉) A folder is on top of the cabinet.

beneath / underneath — ~아래에 The cat is sleeping beneath the table.

against — ~에 기대어 A ladder is leaning against the wall.

overlooking — ~을 내려다보며 The balcony is overlooking the park.
