직역하면 "하루의 끝에는"인데, 실제 의미는 "결국", "따지고 보면"이야. 온갖 복잡한 논의를 거쳐도 결국 핵심은 이거라는 걸 딱 짚어주는 마무리 장치야.
이 표현이 비즈니스에서 인기인 이유: 복잡한 논의를 단 한 문장으로 정리할 수 있거든. 예시: "We can debate the design, the budget, the timeline... But at the end of the day, the customer experience is what matters." 이렇게 하면 핵심 메시지가 강력하게 남아. 비슷한 표현: - "Ultimately" → 더 격식적, 글에서 자주 사용 - "At the end of the day" → 대화·발표에서 더 자연스러운 구어체
